Zlaty kluč (The golden key)

The festival of slovak music Zlaty kluc is already 28 years a part of the cultural and musical life in Selenca. It is present nearly 38 years in our cultural life,with one longer break in it`s organisation. There were many different reasons for this break.

The television and the radio,two main rocks of this festival,had to struggle for their own existance and they couldn´t support this manifestation anymore.

The institutional changes in our society reduced the financial sources for several cultural manifestations and Zlaty kluc was also one of them.

Some of the organisers wanted to replace Zlaty kluc with some another music manifestation,but there were also people,who strongly believed in it`s quality and future. They only waited for the right moment to renew it,because this festival will always find the way how to touch our hearts.
